The Fram is a legendary vessel that embarked on Norwegian Arctic and Antarctic expeditions under renowned explorers such as Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen, embodying the spirit of discovery and perseverance. This model is meticulously crafted from cedar wood, mahogany, teak, and other exotic woods, ensuring both durability and natural elegance. It is entirely handmade using the traditional "plank-on-frame" construction method, mirroring actual shipbuilding techniques. Each piece requires hundreds of hours to complete and undergoes rigorous quality checks before leaving the workshop.Details- The hull features a uniquely rounded design with a vibrant red lower section and a light gray upper section, closely reflecting the ship's original appearance and engineered to withstand the harsh pressures of polar exploration.- Three main masts with beige-colored sails are painstakingly rigged and secured, accurately recreating Fram's complex rigging.- The spacious deck includes finely crafted details such as railings, a helm, hatch covers, a flag mast, and other metal fittings.- A sturdy wooden base with a brass nameplate labeled "FRAM" ensures a sophisticated and secure display.
